Ignite your day with this money saver
Hey there ~
Ew it's a rainy Sunday here in Kentucky and maybe this blog will find you well today. I was hoping that since it's so rainy and blah out that you may find interest in this blog post & go to Walmart or where ever you shop and get these ingredients to make this drink!
Recently, I got my boyfriend, Austin into drinking the pumpkin cream cold brews from Starbucks. Yes, the suga :) in those is probably not the best for you, but it's better than a Monster or a red bull annnnnnnd the milk in this drink might help your calcium levels. :) I'm also glad I got him to try something new for energy!
Anyways, Austin likes the cold brews from Starbucks, so a few days ago he mentioned that we should try and make our own to save money. So, we researched some cold brew recipes and found a good concoction! We want to share it with you! After researching we thought about making our own cold brew, but that's just an extra step that's not necessary when there is a perfect (already made) cold brew jug you can buy in stores for a good price! Do you know you can save so much more money making your own at home?
Yes, it's getting ready to be super cold outside and a warm drink probably sounds better than an iced one, but Austin doesn't like hot drinks. This one worked for us and if you wanted to you could probably take everything I'm going to tell you about and put it in hot coffee instead of the cold brew. :) I prefer to drink dark cold drinks through a straw anyways to help with prevention of staining on your teeth.
We may end up brewing our own cold brew eventually! If anyone has any tips on what they do for cold coffee or cold brew let us know!
Well, I'm going to try and explain the best way to make this drink and may even go LIVE on my facebook later to show you how to make it!
Here's the Walmart ingredients you need:
Okay, so here's how you start making them:
